TEGoVA is The European Group of Valuers’ Association and a non-profit association composed of valuers from 31 countries representing about 70,000 valuers in Europe. With this membership, they can approve members as ‘Recognised European Valuers’ to achieve the minimum educational standard to be recognised as a valuer under the TEGoVA scheme.
As a current member of IPAV, Pat Callanan of Pat Callanan Property Sales Ltd. received the qualification from TEGoVA in 2013.
Designed to recognise European Valuation, the scheme maintains, enhances and harmonises valuation standards and the valuation profession in Europe. With this new status of ‘Recognised European Valuer’, Pat Callanan can now practice with a well-defined indicator of qualification and experience, with the aim of assuring clients in his valuation proficiency.
